Customer Guide

Welcome to AvadaBD. This guide shows you, step by step, how to find a product, compare sellers, order it and pay. It takes about five minutes to read.

1. Create your account

1. Click the person icon at the top of the page, then choose Create account.

2. Type your email address. We send a verification code to that email.

3. Type the code to prove the email is yours.

4. Fill in your full name, an optional phone number and a password, and type the password again to confirm.

5. Tick the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, then press Create Account.

You can browse without an account, but you need one to order, save a wishlist, track orders and make a pre-order. Keep "Save my login info" ticked on your own phone or computer so you stay signed in.

2. Find a product

• Use the search bar at the top and type a brand or model, for example "HP EliteBook 840 G5".

• Or open the menu and pick a category, then narrow the list with filters such as brand and price.

• Open a product to see its photos, condition, specifications, price and warranty.

Read the condition carefully. Most laptops and phones here are used or refurbished. The listing shows the real photos and the condition of that exact unit. See the Used Device Policy.

3. Compare prices from different sellers

Several sellers can offer the same model at different prices. You can see them all in one place.

1. Open the product page.

2. Press Compare With Other Seller.

3. You see the offers from every seller for that model, so you can compare prices side by side.

4. Pick the offer you like and open it to order.

Each product shows Sold by with the seller's name. The seller you buy from packs and delivers your order and gives your warranty.

4. Save products for later

• Press the heart on a product to add it to your wishlist.

• Use Compare to line up products and see their specifications together.

5. Add to cart and check out

1. On the product page choose any options (colour, RAM, storage), then press Add to cart.

2. Open your cart, check the items and quantities, and press Checkout.

3. Step 1 — Address. Add your delivery address and phone number. Choose Home Delivery, or Store Pickup if it is offered. Give a full and correct address so the courier can find you.

4. Step 2 — Payment. Choose how to pay (see section 7).

5. Step 3 — Review. Check everything and place the order.

You receive an order confirmation email, and you can follow the order in your account under Orders.

6. Pre-order a product you cannot find

If a product is not listed, or you want a specific model, ask for it.

1. Open the Pre-order page and sign in.

2. Type the product name, the options you want (colour, RAM, storage), your phone number, and any notes.

3. Send the request. Sellers who can supply it reply with their price.

4. Open your pre-order to see all the offers. The lowest price is marked.

5. Accept the offer you prefer. You can then add it to your cart and check out like a normal order.

For a pre-order you pay a small deposit, about 5%, to confirm it. The rest is paid when the product arrives. Read the Pre-Order Policy for the details, including cancelling.

7. How to pay

At checkout you choose one of two ways. Payment goes through bKash, Nagad or EPS, and we never ask for your PIN or OTP.

Cash on Delivery with a small advance

• Pay a small advance (5% of the total) online now to confirm your order.

• Pay the rest in cash to the delivery person when the parcel arrives.

• The checkout page shows the exact amount before you pay.

Full payment online

• Pay the whole amount online now. Nothing is left to pay on arrival.

• This option can also save you the delivery charge. The checkout page shows what you save.

8. Delivery

• Same city as the seller: within 3 days. Elsewhere in Bangladesh: within 5 days.

• The courier phones you before arriving, so keep your phone on.

• Read the Delivery Policy for what happens if a delivery fails.

9. When your parcel arrives — do this

This protects you if something is wrong.

1. Check the outside of the parcel in front of the delivery person: torn, opened or wet packaging.

2. Record a full, continuous video of opening the parcel, from the sealed package until you have checked the product.

3. Test the product. For a laptop: power on, screen, keyboard, touchpad, ports, charger, battery and Wi-Fi. For a phone: display, touch, cameras, speakers, SIM and IMEI (dial *#06#).

4. Pay the delivery person the remaining amount if you chose Cash on Delivery.

10. Warranty, returns and refunds

• Products come with a warranty of 15 to 30 days, set by the seller. Read the Warranty Policy.

• If something is wrong, damaged, not working or not as described, tell us within 72 hours of delivery and show your unboxing video. The seller checks the product and decides. See the Return & Refund Policy.

• You cannot return a product because you changed your mind.

• If you disagree with the seller's decision, complain to us within 15 days.
