Vendor Guide

This guide takes you from creating a seller account to shipping your first order. Follow the steps in order. When you finish, you know how to list products, manage orders and connect a courier.

1. Before you start

  • Sellers are approved by hand, so use true business details.

  • Have ready: your shop name, phone number, national ID and, if you have one, trade licence, plus the bank or mobile-wallet account where you want to be paid.

  • Read the Vendor Agreement. By registering you accept it. It explains the commission (currently 5% of the product price), payouts and your duty to handle warranty and returns.

2. Create your seller account

  1. Open Become a Vendor and start the registration.

  2. Step 1 — Business information. Shop name, category, address and contact details.

  3. Step 2 — Bank details. The account where we send your payouts.

  4. Step 3 — Documents. Upload your identity and business documents.

  5. Step 4 — Review. Check everything and submit.

  6. Wait for approval. Our team reviews new vendors by hand, and you get an email when you are approved.

After approval, sign in and open the vendor dashboard. The menu on the left has Dashboard, Products, Media, Orders, Pre-orders, Analytics, Payouts, Gifts, Product Badges, Flash Sale, Coupons, Report Issue and Settings.

3. Set up your store

Open Settings and complete your store details. A complete profile builds trust with buyers. Your public store page opens with View My Store in the menu.

4. Add products the easy way

Easy add is the fastest way. Use it when the product is already in the AvadaBD library.

  1. Open Products and press Easy Add.

  2. Search the library, or pick a category and sort the list.

  3. Choose your product. The description, images and specifications are filled in for you.

  4. Set your price and stock, and change anything you want.

  5. Submit it.

5. Add a product manually

Use this when the product is not in the library.

  1. Open Products and choose to add a product manually.

  2. Fill in each section of the form. The links at the top jump between sections.

    • Basic information: product name, short description, full description, category and brand.

    • Organization and storefront filters: tags, so buyers can find it.

    • Media: upload clear photos of the actual unit, and choose the main image. For used devices, real photos of the real device are required.

    • Pricing: regular price, and an optional sale price with start and end dates.

    • Inventory: stock quantity, low-stock alert and SKU.

    • Variants: colour, RAM, storage and other options, each with its own price and stock.

    • Specifications: processor, memory, screen, battery and other details, in groups.

    • Shipping: weight and size, which the courier needs.

    • Status: Save as Draft to finish later, or submit it for review.

  3. Save. Products are reviewed by our team before they go live.

Write honest listings. For a used device state the condition, marks, replaced parts, battery health, IMEI and any known fault. State the warranty period (15 to 30 days) clearly in the description and specifications. Read the Used Device Policy and the Warranty Policy.

6. Customize and edit a product

  1. Open Products and press the product you want to change.

  2. Change the price, stock, photos, variants or text, then save.

  3. Add Images by colour so buyers see the right photo for each colour.

  4. Editing a published product sends it back for approval, so make all your changes in one go.

To add many products at once, use the CSV tools on the Products page: export your products, edit the file, then upload it. You see a preview before anything is changed.

7. Grow your sales

  • Coupons: create discount codes for your own products.

  • Flash Sale: run a limited-time price on your products.

  • Product Badges: add badges to your products.

  • Gifts: offer a free gift with a product.

  • Analytics: see your views, orders and revenue.

8. Manage your orders

Open Orders to see every order for your products. Open one to see the buyer's details, the items, the address and the payment.

An order moves through these steps: Confirmed → Processing → Shipped → Delivered.

  1. Confirm and prepare. Check the product, test it, and pack it safely. Use Print to print the packing slip.

  2. Mark the order Processing while you prepare it.

  3. Ship it (section 10, or by hand if you have no courier connected).

  4. When the courier delivers it, the order becomes Delivered.

Speed matters. Have the order ready to hand to the courier within 24 hours. Buyers expect delivery within 3 days in your city and 5 days elsewhere. Reply to buyers and to any claim within 2 working days.

Packing tips for used devices: seal the parcel so opening is visible, keep the warranty sticker intact, and keep a photo or video of the device before you pack it. It protects you if a claim is made.

9. Connect a courier

Connect your own courier account once, and you can book parcels with one click. AvadaBD supports Pathao, Steadfast and RedX.

  1. Create a merchant account with the courier, if you do not have one.

  2. Open Settings and find the Courier section.

  3. Choose the courier and enter its details:

    • Pathao: Client ID, Client Secret, merchant email and merchant password. In the Pathao Merchant Panel, go to Developer API and generate the credentials.

    • Steadfast: API Key and Secret Key, from the API page of the Steadfast merchant panel.

    • RedX: the API access token, from the developer or OpenAPI page of the RedX merchant panel.

  4. Choose the Environment. Sandbox is for test parcels only. Live is for real deliveries. Test with Sandbox first, then switch to Live.

  5. Set your default parcel weight and a default delivery instruction, and choose your store or pickup city and zone.

  6. Press Test connection. When it succeeds, save.

Your courier details are stored encrypted. To stop using a courier, press Disconnect.

10. Send an order by courier

  1. Open the order and make sure it is confirmed and being processed.

  2. In the Courier box, check the courier and your pickup store.

  3. Press the button to hand the order to the courier. We send the buyer's name, phone, address and the amount to collect.

  4. The order becomes Shipped, and you get a tracking code. Copy it and give it to the courier when they collect.

  5. When the courier delivers, the order closes as Delivered.

Store pickup orders never use a courier, so the courier box does not appear.

No courier connected? You can still ship: send the parcel yourself, then mark the order Shipped and enter the tracking number. The tracking number is required.

11. Get paid

Open Payouts to see what you have earned. We collect the buyer's payment, keep our commission, and pay you the rest to the account you registered, on the payout schedule in the Vendor Agreement. Refunds we pay because of your fault can be deducted.

12. Warranty and returns

You are responsible for the warranty on what you sell.

  1. Answer every claim within 2 working days.

  2. Inspect the product and decide whether it is covered, using the void conditions in the Warranty Policy.

  3. Give your decision in writing, with reasons and evidence. A refusal without reasons is not valid.

  4. Repair, replace or refund as the policy requires, and pay to send the product back if the claim is upheld.

13. Pre-orders

When a buyer asks for a product you can supply, it appears under Pre-orders. A number beside the menu shows how many are waiting for your price. Open one and send your price, and the buyer picks the offer they prefer.

14. Get help

Use Report Issue in the menu, or contact [email protected] or 01893-009370.
