HP OmniBook X 17.3 (2025)

The HP OmniBook X 17.3 is an odd and rather appealing combination, because the two things it puts together normally live apart. Large laptops are usually built around powerful, power-hungry processors, and efficient Copilot+ processors are usually fitted to small, thin machines. Putting an efficient chip in a 17-inch body produces something specific: a big-screen laptop that runs cool, stays quiet and does not need to be tethered to a socket the way large machines traditionally do. For someone whose work is documents, spreadsheets, research and long video calls on a big screen, rather than rendering or gaming, that is a better fit than a conventional 17-inch machine. It keeps the practical large-body features, a numeric keypad, wired ethernet, an SD card reader and full-size ports, and adds the Copilot+ floor of at least 16 GB memory with on-device AI features.
